For the past two years, Kathy has been one of the driving forces behind KCU's efforts to improve transparency, accountability, and the public's voice at City Hall.

We've come to know Kathy as a kind and selfless person who doesn't sit on the sidelines. She's not afraid to put in the work, ask the tough questions when she feels decisions aren't in the community's best interests, or stand up for people when they aren't being heard - even outside of KCU.

When Kathy believed residents deserved a more meaningful voice in one of the largest borrowing decisions in our city's history, she led a legal challenge over the City's use of an AAP instead of a referendum. She said it wasn't about the projects - it was about the process.

With years of professional experience and an in-depth understanding of local issues and municipal government, we believe Kamloops would be well served by having her as a member of Council.
