KCU Statement:

We are a grassroots group-meaning individual perspectives do not necessarily reflect the views of the group as a whole.

As the “unofficial opposition” in city hall, however; our common goal is improved accountability, communication, and transparency with this city council; for the benefit of all citizens.

No matter how the truth is spun by some to suit certain parties, KCU will continue to advocate for it, by investigating and reporting factual information.

One cannot silence the truth.

In response to the “Sound Off” letter:

The investigator (that was hired by the city) found that the Mayor misled the public, based on testimony from Joshua Knaack, a good friend of Councillor Neustaeter’s.

Testimony is not proof of the allegations, yet sanctions were imposed.

Would the report have ended with a different conclusion If the Mayor had been permitted to also hire his own investigator to go through the scenario with his information and perspective?
